Company-specific support is a legal term from the DGUV regulation and is a supplement to the basic care.
In order to meet the individual requirements of a company and to adequately respond to special features, company-specific support is necessary in Frankfurt.

Basic care:
Basic care includes advice on all questions of occupational health and safety. The advice is provided, among other things, on the basis of regular and event-related inspections. The entrepreneur or the authority receives sound safety and occupational health advice in Frankfurt as well as information for their own risk assessment. In particular, brarbe takes into account new legislative amendments, ordinances and regulations and is a competent contact person in Frankfurt for this purpose in order to be able to meet the basic responsibility under Section 3 ArbSchG.

Company-specific support:
Depending on the individual requirements, the company-specific support needs of a company or an authority in Frankfurt arise. The scope and need of the care is determined independently by the company or the authority. The scope of care must be reviewed regularly (annually) and, if necessary, redefined. The determination of the care services is carried out in accordance with DGUV Regulation 2, Annex 4, which must be used as a guide by the entrepreneur or authorities. -
Examples
The basic support includes the inspection of the company and the preparation of a protocol with suggestions for improvement or deficiencies that should be eliminated.
Company-specific support includes individual measures such as (special) instruction of employees or equipment tests.
The entrepreneur in Frankfurt determines the extent of the company-specific support himself, and he should conscientiously orient himself to the risk assessment.
Who is responsible for the company-specific support?

- The company-specific support can be divided into four areas:
- Specific instruction of your employees in accordance with § 12 ArbSchG, e.g. with our brarbe training institute portal

- "Company actions, programmes and measures" and organisation of company integration management
Company-specific support & risk assessment in Frankfurt
The specific need for company-specific support is ideally included in the risk assessment .
As an entrepreneur, if you include your company-specific needs in the risk assessment, you prove to the authorities that you are reliably and, above all, well fulfilling your legal obligation to carry out a risk analysis! Very few companies in Frankfurt include topics such as ergonomics or aptitude tests in the risk assessment.

brarbe helps you to carry out the ASA. In companies with more than twenty employees, the employer must form an occupational health and safety committee in accordance with § 11 ASiG. When determining the number of employees, part-time employees with a regular weekly working time of no more than 20 hours are to be taken into account at 0.5 and no more than 30 hours at 0.75. This committee is composed of:
- the employer or a person appointed by the employer
- two works council members appointed by the works council
- Company physicians
- Occupational safety specialists
- Safety officer (§ 22 SGB VII)
The occupational health and safety committee must be held quarterly.
The regular meeting of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee has the purpose of consciously and permanently keeping occupational health and safety present as a topic.
