Preventive examinations
(G1–G46)
The preventive examinations are divided according to so-called principles (G1–G46). This is an obligation to detect occupational diseases and diseases at an early stage and, in the best case, to prevent them.
The G-principle according to which an employee must be examined depends on thech according to hazard aspects caused by the professional activity. These are determined in the risk assessment . The entrepreneur is responsible for arranging appropriate preventive examinations for his employees.

About preventive examinations (G1-G46) in Frankfurt
Mandatory examinations in Frankfurt
- The employer must arrange for occupational health care in the case of certain hazardous activities. Activities that are particularly hazardous according to the Ordinance on Preventive Occupational Health Care may only be carried out if the mandatory preventive care has been carried out. This makes the preventive examination mandatory for the employee. The employer is obliged to arrange for these examinations on a regular basis.
- The occupational health certificate resulting from the mandatory examination is documented in the employee's preventive care file.

Preventive medical check-ups in Frankfurt
- The employer must offer preventive examinations for certain hazardous activities. As a service of the company in Frankfurt, the bid investigations must be made possible on a regular basis.
- However, it is up to the employee to decide whether to take advantage of this offer for a preventive examination.
Optional preventive check-ups in Frankfurt
- The desired pension must be granted by the employer.
- In this case, the employee can be examined and advised whether the current job and the work requirements are compatible with the employee's health and pre-existing conditions (both physical and psychological stress).
brarbe helps you to carry out the ASA. In companies with more than twenty employees, the employer must form an occupational health and safety committee in accordance with § 11 ASiG. When determining the number of employees, part-time employees with a regular weekly working time of no more than 20 hours are to be taken into account at 0.5 and no more than 30 hours at 0.75. This committee is composed of:
- the employer or a person appointed by the employer
- two works council members appointed by the works council
- Company physicians
- Occupational safety specialists
- Safety officer (§ 22 SGB VII)
The occupational health and safety committee must be held quarterly.
The regular meeting of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee has the purpose of consciously and permanently keeping occupational health and safety present as a topic.
