First Aid Training
The so-called company first aider is a trained person in first aid. It is to be distinguished from the fire protection assistant. First aiders in the company are employees who, for example, provide first aid in the event of an accident at work. They care for the injured until the rescue service or the emergency doctor takes over.
*Free of charge possible in most cases, as we are a certified body of the DGUV. Please ask us and your BG.
About the first aider training
Training of the workforce in first aid
-
Commitment:
The entrepreneur in Frankfurt has to ensure that a certain quota of his workforce is trained in first aid and also provides help in an emergency. Employees should be selected who generally have a heightened sense of responsibility so that they can react quickly and, above all, well in an emergency. -
Important to know:
Five to ten percent of the workforce have to prove that they have completed a corresponding first aid course by means of a certificate from an officially recognized body. In addition, the company in Frankfurt must ensure that employees receive a refresher of their first aid knowledge in the form of new training or further training at least every two years. The costs for the training can be submitted to the employers' liability insurance association.
Legal basis § 26, DGUV Regulation 1
Minimum number of first aiders in the company: The entrepreneur is obliged to ensure that there are enough first aiders on site. It is not just a matter of meeting the quotas in terms of numbers, but of ensuring that there is always a corresponding number of first aiders on site and, in particular, close to the work situation. The costs for the training can be submitted to the respective employers’ liability insurance association.
